Jingles have probably been around as long as the advert itself, a ditty or a few notes remind us of the ad, or the product. It's very clever really, it serves us a reminder even if most of them are very annoying.
However more recently it seems as though the classic jingle has almost disappeared from our screens.
We are only really subjected to the infuriating but very memorable 'We buy any car' ad. That ad is so good it is now shown on the television Dave without music and just parts of the car performing the song rhythm... and we still know what it is.
